Tie-dye Heart Process Art Activity * ages 4+

This tie-dye heart process art activity uses a simple technique with oil pastels and an eraser to give a super cool tie-dye illusion and is great for building hand strength. A perfect Valentine’s Day activity!

MATERIALS NEEDED:

* Oil pastels

* Eraser

* White Paper

WHAT TO DO:

1. Start by making a small shape like a heart using the pastels.

2. Keep adding layers of color around the shape.

3. Finally, take an eraser and move the eraser from the middle of the drawing outward to create the tie-dye effect.

That’s it! So simple and the results are amazing and frame-worthy!
