HOW TO PLAY TAP-TAP-TAP-SNAP SPELLING GAME:
1. Start by reviewing with the child that you will say a word like “cat” and you want them to tap out the sounds with their fingers (index finger/thumb for first sound, middle finger/thumb for second sound and ring finger/thumb for third sound) and then snap their fingers and say the word at the end.
2. Now you are ready to play. Say a word and see if they can tap out the sounds and then snap and say the word.
3. If they are correct they get a point.
4. See how quickly they can get to 10 points or play with others and see who can get to 10 first.
