Stacking Spiders Color Sorting Activity 🕷 ages 2-5 🕷 We recently found these colorful spider rings at Target and I knew they would be perfect for a toddler/preschool Halloween-themed activity!
MATERIALS NEEDED (affiliate links):
WHAT TO DO:
1. Start by placing four small piles of play dough in from of the child.
2. Next lay out 4 is the same colors in craft match sticks.
3. Finally add about 4 spider rings in each color to the table.
4. Ask the child to add the correct match stick to each play dough pile and then add the correct color spider rings to each stick.
Alexander loved this activity and once he completed the activity he took the spiders off, removed the sticks and started again!
Excellent fine motor, sensory, sorting and color recognition activity!
