I’m always looking for fun ways to get Oliver to practice proper pencil grip (as you can see we are still working on it)! The Holiday Sprinkles Challenge is a simple, fun, holiday way to get kids working on those fine motor skills and having a great time!
Holiday Sprinkles Challenge
This is a fine motor skills activity that is created for preschoolers, or children age 3-6 years old.
Materials Needed

- Washi tape
- Holiday sprinkles (or any sprinkles will do)
- Paint Brush
- Shallow tray (ours came as part of this set)
What To Do
1. Start by using craft tape to make a tree outline on a tray.
2. Then pour sprinkles onto the tray.
3. Give the child a paintbrush and challenge them to decorate the tree by getting all the sprinkles onto the tree using a paintbrush.
Such a fun fine motor activity and great for building focus, pencil grasp and patience!
