Materials Needed

- Clear, gallon, sealable plastic freezer bag
- Cotton ball
- Rubbing alcohol
- Clear hair gel
- Black plastic spider
- Orange construction paper
- Black marker
- Clear packing tape
How to Make A Spider Web Sensory Bag
- Start by using rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to remove the label from the sealable plastic bag.
- Add about 1 cup (8 oz) of clear hair gel to the bag.
- Add a small plastic spider to the bag.
- Lay the bag flat and remove as much air as possible before sealing the bag.
- Next draw a spider web in black marker on a pice of orange construction paper.
- Then add numbers 1-10 throughout the web.
- Use the clear packing tape to tape the top and bottom of the sealable bag to a table or counter.
- Slide the orange construction paper under the bag.
- Ask your child to move the spider around the web starting with number 1 and counting up to number 10.
