Monster Haircuts Scissor Skills Activity ✂️ ages 3-6 ✂️ Monsters need haircuts too! Here’s a fun, simple way to build scissor and fine motor skills. Perfect for Halloween-themed weeks or any time of the year!
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR MONSTER HAIRCUTS SCISSOR SKILLS ACTIVITY: (affiliate links)
* Tissue paper (construction paper would work also)
* Tape
* Marker
* Scissors
* Toilet paper roll or small jar
WHAT TO DO:
1. Fold the tissue paper in half (we used two pieces of tissue paper) and place the paper roll at the bottom of the folded half.
2. Apply a piece of tape to hold roll in place, wrap the roll and cut the tissue paper so there’s just enough to go around.
3. Secure the tissue paper with another piece of tape.
4. Cut small strips of the tissue paper to make hair.
5. Draw a face on the monster.
6. Let the kids give the monsters haircuts!
