Teaching Feelings / Making Faces * ages 4+ *

Helping kids identify different feelings and emotions is important in building their emotional intelligence and gives them the ability to process emotions and become more resilient. This Making Faces activity is a fun way of teaching feelings and emotions to kids.

MATERIALS NEEDED (affiliate links):

HOW TO PLAY MAKING FACES:

  1. Print out or draw an image of a head.
  2. Place the image inside the sheet protector.
  3. Ask kids to draw an emotion or feeling like silly, happy or mad using dry erase markers.
  4. After they complete the drawing ask them to show you the emotion on their faces.

My boys had so much fun with this activity and their drawings were quite amazing! 😀
