We are all about snowmen in the winter, and this Fill the Snowman Toddler activity is a fun, winter, fine motor activity that’s perfect for toddlers and preschoolers!
MATERIALS NEEDED (affiliate links):
* Empty water bottle (We used a small Voss plastic water bottle.)
* Black and orange permanent markers
* Small funnel (We used a collapsible silicone funnel.)
* Scooper or spoon (We love our silicone sensory scooper from Silikids)
* Large tray (We used an extra large baking sheet.)
* Bowl
* Rice
WHAT TO DO:
1. Start by drawing a snowman’s face on the empty water bottle using black and orange markers.
2. Remove the lid from the bottle and insert the funnel.
3. Then take a bowl of uncooked rice and ask your toddler to fill up the snowman with rice.
4. Once the bottle is almost full, screw on the lid and you have a snowman shaker!
5. OPTIONAL: Seal with hot glue or super glue if you want to keep as a shaker!
