MATERIALS NEEDED (affiliate links):
Googly eyes (we used the kind with self adhesive)
12 ribbon pieces (we used Easter basket grass we had left over but any narrow ribbon or even string would work)
Check out Oliver making the jellyfish in the below video:
WHAT TO DO:
1. Cut the ribbon into 12 inch pieces (or use Easter grass like us which is precut)
2. Take a cupcake liner and tape one end of the ribbon to the bottom of cupcake liner.
3. Continue taping all 12 pieces to the bottom of the cupcake liner so they are equally spaced around the bottom.
4. After all the ribbons are taped, use the glue stick to apply glue to the cupcake liner and then apply a new cupcake liner to the top of the one with all the ribbons attached.
5. Press the liners together to secure the glue.
6. Add googly eyes to the new cupcake liner and the jellyfish is complete!
This activity is great for building fine motor skills, creativity and crossing the midline!
